These Terms of Service govern your use of maritime-md.com and any consultation you book with Maritime Services and Logistics LLC, doing business as Maritime MD ("Maritime MD", "we", "us"). By booking a consultation, you agree to these terms.
Consultations
Consultations are phone calls held at the time you select when booking. Times are shown in U.S. Eastern Time. We will call you at the phone number you provide — please be available at that number at the scheduled time.
Payments
Payment is collected when you book, through Stripe. All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Your booking is confirmed once payment succeeds.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
You may cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled call for a full refund. To cancel or reschedule, reply to your confirmation email or email hello@maritime-md.com. If we need to reschedule or cancel, we will let you know by email and offer a new time or a full refund.
Text Message Program (SMS Terms)
By providing your mobile phone number and ticking the optional text message checkbox when booking, you enroll in the Maritime MD Booking Notifications program and agree to receive recurring booking confirmation and appointment reminder text messages from Maritime MD. These messages are transactional only; we do not send marketing texts.
- Message frequency varies (typically 2–3 messages per booking).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help.

- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase; you can book without it.
- Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Participation in this program is subject to our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service.
Nature of Advice
Consultations are provided for general informational purposes. Advice given during a consultation is not a substitute for an independent marine survey, or for legal, financial, or professional engineering advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on information provided, and you rely on it at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a consultation is limited to the amount you paid for that consultation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last changed. The terms in effect when you book apply to that booking.
